A Bit About Me
My name is Anna, a graphic designer and illustrator based in Lancaster, PA. I seek to find beauty in the mundane, drawing inspiration from people, places, and everyday objects all around me. I approach my work with curiosity, an open mind, and strongly believe that good design is not only visually engaging, but is meaningful and tells a story.
My creative process begins with research, diving deeper into the ‘why’ behind an idea, visual identity, or brand to inform its initial design direction. After research, I sketch ideations on paper or digitally in Procreate, later refining them in Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. I enjoy each stage of the design process from start to finish, embracing the imperfections in the beginning and taking pride in the final execution of the project or design.
When I am not creating, you can find me trying new recipes, crafting with friends, playing guitar, or starting one of my many craft projects. :)

In-house graphic designer for United Way of Lancaster County and staff writer for One United Lancaster. In charge of social media and marketing visuals, creating program logos, designing signage and material for events, and occasional event photography.
Partnered with United Way of Lancaster County for a year of service. During this time, I designed material for upcoming events in the community, created visuals for social media following brand guidelines, and developed several logos for community partnerships.
Worked with Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) in Goshen, IN to update material for the Mennonite Relief Sale in Goshen. I revamped the old brochure, created a digital map of the fairgrounds for the event, and designed additional promotional signage.
Interned at Lightbox Collective in Goshen, IN. I collaborated with team members to contribute to research, case studies, and designs for clients. I utilized Canva to create accessible templates for clients and regularly used Slack, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.
